Cover for New Spidy / Spike Lee’s ‘Da Brick’

After Marvel killed off Peter Park in the Ultimate Universe, they decided to replace him with a character they felt represented a contemporary New York. Miles Morales is the new, half Black, half Hispanic and gay Ultimate Spider-man. The first issue of the all new Spidy will be out in September, but Marvel has already released the variant cover for issue 1

Spike Lee’s ‘Da Brick’

Spike Lee; a coming of age tale laced with racial tensions and juvenile delinquency. The story draws on the early Mike Tyson years, and the former boxer is even involved in the project. John Boyega has been confirmed as the lead and will be joining Milauna Jemai and The Wire’s Julito McCullum on set.
