The first long weekend of summer is just days away, and for Canadians looking for the perfect getaway, there’s a multi-amusement and entertainment experience just two hours from Toronto, south of the border, at DARIEN LAKE!

More than 25% of the Park’s annual visitors hold Canadian passports, and DARIEN LAKE, currently celebrating its 50^th season as “Destination Fun”, continues to present even more perks for Canucks! In 2012, the park added an on-site Tim Hortons, which is as popular with the guests as it is with the staff. This year, visitors are already enjoying a million-dollar upgrade to the Park’s famous Laser Blast Show with “Ignite the Night”, featuring a new 60-foot water screen as the backdrop to an action-packed show that includes a tribute to famous hockey hosers!

Spend less time planning and more time vacationing together with DARIEN LAKE’s unique Stay and Play experience, where Park admission is free with all accommodation bookings! Guests can choose from a multitude of on-site, overnight accommodations from Lodge on the Lake, a 160-room hotel, to 57 modern cabins each with a kitchen, full bath, fireplace, flat screen TV, air conditioning, gas grill, picnic table, and fire ring. Visitors can also choose from 283 furnished RV campsites and 650 traditional campsites, plus the return of their popular Glamping sites providing a more luxurious take on camping and the addition of 6 new four-bedroom, fully furnished, fully equipped Guest Houses. DARIEN LAKE is “Destination Fun” with over 45 rides, including six stomach-turning roller coasters, dozens of family-friendly rides, a 10-acre water park – the region’s largest – complete with wave pool, and a 20,000 seat Performing Arts Center operated by Live Nation, DARIEN LAKE is a full-service fun machine. The Park offers 32 quick or full-service carts and restaurants, with its newest addition of New York’s Anchor Bar, famed for the invention of the Buffalo Chicken Wing and a favourite amongst Canadians.

Fun is right over the bridge. DARIEN LAKE is only a 50-minute drive from Niagara Falls’ “Rainbow Bridge”, and Queenston’s “Lewiston-Queenston bridge” and a 40-minute drive from Fort Erie’s “Peace Bridge.”
