Ty Dolla $ign drops his hotly anticipated Beach House 2 mixtape today, July 1. This summer is getting even hotter for the Los Angeles R&B trailblazer as he just officially joined Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Ent. as well.
Beach House 2 is the latest Gangsta Grillz mixtape series hosted by DJ Drama and follows up 2012's critically acclaimed Beach House mixtape, which helped establish him as one of the hottest young voices in R&B.
Complex hailed him as “a less self-serious version of The Weeknd…one of the most promising artists to work in this R&B Kelly-style R&B vein since The-Dream first broke.”
That same swag and cool style carries Beach House 2 with even more x-rated anthems worth moving to. Boasting production from DJ Mustard, DJ Spinz and D.R.U.G.S., he's also invited some high-profile friends to the party. As part of Taylor Gang Ent., Wiz Khalifa also invited Ty to appear on select dates of the season's biggest tour, the Under the Influence of Music Tour, which also features A$AP Rocky and B.o.B.
In the meantime, Ty is also readying his full-length debut for Atlantic Records due out later this year.
