Free Agent KING LOS (formerly of Bad Boy Records) Unveils "ZERO GRAVITY II" *TRENDING*

Critically acclaimed Baltimore rapper King Los unveils his anxiously awaited mixtape, Zero Gravity II presented by After Platinum Entertainment, today. You can download it here for free exclusively on Dattpiff.com http://www.datpiff.com/King-Los-Zero-Gravity-2-mixtape.592172.html The set is the sequel to his renowned 2010 offering Zero Gravity, and it follows up last year’s Becoming King, which was listed as #2 mixtape on Hotnewhiphop.com with over 600,000 downloads. It also proves to be his most engaging and expansive collection to date, proudly representing his hometown with a new sound.

Zero Gravity II takes flight on Los’s impenetrable cadence, clever wordplay, and dynamic production spanning everything from dark sounds to trap, club bangers and jazzy soul grooves. As the progenitor of pattern rap, he’s sparked his own movement, bringing attention back to rhymes and making him a true wordsmith.

The first single “Play Too Rough,” produced by J. Oliver, sees him deliver an immediately irresistible refrain over ominous production. The beats themselves teeter between haunting and hypnotic as Los cautions anybody afraid to go toe-to-toe with him on a track. You can catch the“Play Too Rough” music video when it drops this week as well!

On the other end of the spectrum, the up-tempo club banger “Woke Up Like This,” produced by Hunter Bressannods to Beyonce’s “Flawless”, while merging a prominent bass line and a distinct Southern flavor. Guest features on the mixtape include Royce da 5’9, Kid Ink, Jeremih, Kobe, Mario, Lola Monroe, Mark Battles and more. Zero Gravity II elevates the MC to a new atmosphere altogether,

Moreover, Los issues an official statement in regards to his recent amicable split with Bad Boy Records. “I’ll always be a part of the Bad Boy family,” he comments. “I wanted to take this opportunity to pursue other avenues and explore new business ventures though. In many ways, I’ve been inspired to do so by my big bro, Diddy. I’ll never stop looking up to him, and our friendship is as strong as ever. In terms of my business, I’d like to explore my options and secure the best opportunity.”

Right now, Los is preparing to join longtime friend and collaborator Kid Ink on the “Ones to Watch with Skype Present Kid Ink – My Own Lane 2014 US Tour” starting April 4 at The Fillmore in San Francisco. Los recently contributed a verse to “No Option” from Kid Ink’s major label debut, and now they’ll be sharing the stage every night on the cross-country jaunt.

Already endorsed by the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Sway, Diddy and his 200,000+ twitter followers, get ready to witness King Los’s reign over rap royalty.
