The Honey Jam Canada Concert returns
on August 14, 2014 at 8:00 pm featuring 15 diverse female artists from
across Canada at the Mod Club (722 College St). The Honey Jam Canada
Concert is a national showcase and incubator for female singers. In
its 19 year history, Honey Jam has launched the careers of several
Canadian stars, including Jully Black and Nelly Furtado. Furtado is now
one of the event’s sponsors.

These up and coming artists represent a diverse range of genres including pop, hip hop, R&B, soul, blues and rock. The lineup was announced at Honey Jam’s recent launch, where Grammy Award winner Melanie Fiona shared her experience navigating the music industry.

Honey Jam has fostered the development of artists for 19 years, resulting in a slew of successful alumni and current artists who gain international attention, like 2014 Concert artist McKenzie Small, whose cover of Pretty Hurts with cousin Haley famously gained Beyonce's attention.
Other alumni include Jully Black, Anjulie, Andrea Lewis, Kellylee Evans and Reema Major.
Tickets are available for $20 via ticketweb.ca, at Play de Record (357A Yonge St.) or at the door. This is a 19+ event. Doors open at 7:00 pm, show starts promptly at 8:00 pm.
