On what physical products are still important in the digital music era:
RZA: There's many ways to get music nowadays but I thought the fan got disconnected to the music. I come from a generation where we used to go to the record store digging for records. Or when the new CD came out, we had Tower Records right here in New York - and J&R Music World, and those brick-and-mortar operations are gone. So my idea was find a way to get the brick and mortar stores back involved in music. I think we did a good job because you look at a store like Zumiez, who wouldn't normally carry music - now they are carrying our speaker there. So now you got fans who can go to the store, have an experience, and then you also have a store who wouldn't normally attract those consumers - so it's a win-win. And that's something I think we should pay attention to... I know we got Spotify, you got downloadable music -but vinyl is making a big comeback because people want to hold it. You want to hold it. And the speaker is the best of both worlds. There's bluetooth, you can hold it in your hand - you can use it as Spotify - it's up to you.

It was hard to get Wu-Tang together to do our album and we love Drake
and appreciate that name checking and
see that Wu-Tang has inspired him as well. When we sang "Wu-Tang
Forever" I think - you know the song "Triumph" was - like they said one
of the best lyrics written in hip hop: "I bomb atomically, Socrates'
philosophies..." you can see it's been a while but.
"Hypotheses." But the point being made is that that album was called
"Wu-Tang Forever," and it wasn't only about us - it was about the spirit
and the music of what we put out there will continue to inspire and go
on, generations past us. That's what makes
it forever.
