PIERRE DEROCHE TNT Royal Retro GMT ½ Hour

Pierre DeRoche enriches its TNT Royal Retro with a GMT display adjustable to the nearest half hour not via a corrector, but instead using the crown. An extremely rare phenomenon! To avoid any loss of precision during adjustments, the GMT hours and minutes hands advance in 30-minute increments to guarantee exact half hours, without the movement stopping. A third indicator appears on the white part of the subdial if it is daytime in the zone of the second time zone; or in the black section if it is night-time. Meanwhile, the TNT Royal Retro signature retrograde seconds hands pursue their fascinating path. To spice up the overall effect, two of the six original hands vanish in the lower section of the dial to provide space for the GMT indicator. 201-piece limited series.

Mechanical automatic exclusive Dubois Dépraz calibre, 48 jewels. Decorated and engraved oscillating weight. Chamfered and satin-finish four retrograde seconds bridges and central bridge. Hand-fitting affixed by a transversal pin. 4 retrograde seconds hands on gears, strip-spring return.

 

Functions

Hours, minutes seconds with retrograde function in four 10-second sectors. Moving retrograde hand indicator. Date and GMT adjustable in half-hour increments.
