Australian newcomer Kita Alexander premiered the official video for her brand new single “Like You Want To.” The uplifting and infectious new track is taken from her forthcoming debut EP of the same title (out 11/27), and will be available on all digital platforms worldwide NOW, as well as an “instant grat” on iTunes for her forthcoming EP. 

The video for “Like You Want To” was co-directed by Kitaand the talented filmmaker (and pro-skateboarder) Zach Miller and shot in California. The track premiered earlier this week via Noisey and the video premiered on TheFADER. Watch the video here.

“Like You Want To” follows her critically acclaimed debut track “My Own Way,” which debuted online earlier this year and quickly put Kita on the musical map. “My Own Way” – which is soon to be featured on an upcoming Kitsunécompilation -- served as the perfect introduction to Kita’s dreamy alt pop sound and quickly garnered an impressive 156k views on YouTube in just a matter of weeks. Top tier international radio support soon followed, and Kita fast became a press darling amongst the blogosphere and taste making press, touting her as one to watch in 2016.

Having spent this summer in Los Angeles both in the studio and surfing the Pacific Ocean, Kita has written and recorded a stellar collection of songs, ready to be released as her debut EP. The first track to be revealed is the Ben Romans produced “Like You Want To” and is about “speaking your mind and being comfortable with the person you're with" says 19-year-old Kita of the track.
