YB16 – Yamaha Band Competition 2016

Yamaha Canada Music Ltd. is pleased to announce that for the first time we will be participating in Asian Beat 2016, a Yamaha Corporation Event.  Asian Beat is one of the biggest Amateur Band Contests held in Asia each year, where one winning group from each local competition advances to compete on behalf of their Country to be named the top Amateur Band. This contest is open to bands and performing groups of up to 6 members, in any musical style.

One Grand Prize winning group will win a trip to Tokyo, Japan, where they will compete on behalf of Canada at Asian Beat 2016.

The contest runs from July 4th 2016 to August 31st 2016. The winner will be announced in September.
