KANDYPENS MAKES PLAY INTO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY WITH THE RELEASE OF BODEGA

New Video By New York City Rapper Boogz Boogetz Marks The First Official Release For The Leading Vaporizer Company

Today leading vaporizer company, KandyPens, released a new video by up and coming New York City rapper Boogz Boogetz. Bodega marks the first premiere under the KandyPens Artist Ambassador Program with much more to come before the end of the year.

“First and foremost, we are lovers of hip-hop culture,” says Graham Gibson, President/Founder/CEO of KandyPens. “The record labels have abandoned most up and coming artists because of music streaming. We created the Artist Ambassador Program as a way to put some wind into these artists’s sails – we chose Boogz Boogetz because he is 2016 hip-hop. He’s sitting on chrome with Bodega. He’s got the look, the flows, the rhymes, and the beats. All he needed was a little juice.”

Produced by Nick Jr. On The Beat,  Bodega, is a nod to the mosh pit wildin’ out music with a laid back cool vibe that made Onyx famous. Honing in on that point, the gritty Tymoore directed video was shot in different bodegas scattered across Queens and Brooklyn.

“We bringin the trap to the heart of New York City,” said Boogz. “It’s just representing where I come from. Everything from the lifestyle, where we hang out at, smoke weed and hustle. I was just trying to make a song that anyone from my city could relate to,” he explained.

Originally from Rockaway Queens, Boogz Boogetz born Jabbar Scott, found his way into music through the battle rap scene. A close friend with a recording studio took notice and Boogz’s grind has continued ever since. Boogz later dropped a handful of mixtapes starting with his 2009 debut mixtape Gucciz and Groupiez. Yung Lan and Eardrummers member JBo. The other is a full on album produced exclusively

with famed producer Harry Fraud.
