After selling out four consecutive shows, a fifth Daniel Caesar show has been added. The all-ages event will take place at Danforth Music Hall on Wednesday, December 20th.

Born Ashton Simmonds, Daniel Caesar is a Canadian R&B and soul singer-songwriter. He has received widespread critical acclaim for his debut 2014's EP Praise Break, which ranked number 19 in the ‘20 Best R&B Albums of 2014’ by Rolling Stone. This album discusses religion, which he was heavily influenced by as it played a large role in his upbringing. Caesar's follow-up project, Pilgrim's Paradise, was met with even greater praise, subsequently capturing the attention of both the Canadian and international music markets. Some of his most popular songs are "Get You" featuring Kali Uchis, "Violet" and "Japanese Denim."

In June of this year, Daniel Caesar debuted two new singles 'We Find Love' and New 'Blessed', the Toronto singer’s first release of 2017, following his critically acclaimed performance at the 2017 JUNO Awards. On August 25th, he is slated to independently release his debut album, Freudian, on his Golden Child label.
