Chadwick Boseman discusses the process of putting on the ‘Black Panther’ suit for his role in Marvel’s new superhero flick with Larry King saying, “At first it use to take three people to get it on, now it was down to me and another person.” When Larry followed up asking how heavy it was, Chadwick explained that “You get use to it. It doesn’t feel heavy to me (anymore).”

Marvel’s first black superhero Chadwick Boseman also talked the societal impact his new film ‘Black Panther’ will have on the African-American community and beyond. Larry stating that, “This is Marvel’s first film centered completely around a black superhero, did that have add pressure to you?” Chadwick responded, “Absolutely. At this point I don't necessarily feel the pressure but I think when they original approached me about doing it, I knew that it was something we had to have the right team to do, we had to have the right director, the right producer on it. I felt like they had to have the right approach and be committed to it in a way where they felt like their entire career was at stake because I think it's that important of a thing.”

In responding to the impact the movie will have on the African-American community, Chadwick explains, “At this point just from the pre-sales it’s a huge accomplishment. I am more interested in seeing how people respond when they actually see it. I am very enthusiastic about that. It’s going to be amazing for the little kids, not just the blacks, but of all races to see this character, because I think it expands our concessionness and expands our minds of what a hero looks like.” Forest Whitaker added, “I think people they want to see something they feel they haven’t seen before. I think they want to live in this universe of this super hero or archangels of Marvel comics but they also want to feel they are seeing something new.”

Forest Whitaker also reveals that he sometimes fears he’s losing his passion for acting, as the drive he once felt while working on a role he says now can be absent. “I do know that when I am working on a part sometimes I haven’t felt the feeling or the drive, and that’s a fear. I feel like I’ve lost some of my passion and that makes me quiet afraid.”

Plus, Chadwick Boseman opens up about funny fan encounters, best advice, and guilty pleasures. Whereas Forest Whitaker reveals his strangest job, the biggest risk he’s taken, and what people get wrong about him.
