Harlem Globetrotters Scope Out Trick Shot From Top Of CN Tower While On EdgeWalk
The world famous team known for making incredible trick
shots from helicopters, rooftops, and towers as high as 583-feet, got a taste
of what it might feel like to shoot a basketball from the top of the CN Tower.
Released on YouTube minutes ago, the video below shows
Harlem Globetrotters Zeus McClurkin and El Gato Melendez on the EdgeWalk prior
to their five games in the GTA starting Friday night (April 13).
This also marks the opening week of the 2018 season for EdgeWalk.
While standing 1,168-feet above Toronto, El Gato proposed an
outrageous idea to his teammate Zeus, stating: “What do you think about
doing a trick shot from up here … just open the (Rogers Centre) and we’ll shoot
it right into the baseball stadium.”
The Globetrotters bring their 2018 “Amazing Feats of
Basketball” Canada Tour to Ontario for 12 games, including Toronto’s Ricoh
Coliseum on April 13, Oshawa's Tribute Communities Centre on April 14,
and Mississauga's Hershey Centre on April 21. The full Canadian
schedule is available at www.HarlemGlobetrotters.ca.
