UNIQLO Opening Four Stores Between September 14 and November 2

To celebrate stores will give one free HEATTECH item with the first 500 purchases

UNIQLO, the global casual apparel retailer, today announces the opening dates of four new stores, almost doubling the number of Canadian stores from five to nine. The first to open will be in British Columbia at Coquitlam Centre on September 14 and the rest will open in Ontario, at Vaughan Mills on September 28, CF Markville on October 12 and Square One Shopping Centre on November 2.

"Encouraged by the warm welcome we have had to date, we are thrilled to be opening three new stores in the Greater Toronto Area and a fourth new store in Greater Vancouver" said Yasuhiro Hayashi, Chief Operating Officer of UNIQLO Canada. "We're excited these four new stores will allow more people to discover LifeWear, thoughtfully created to make everyday life better and more comfortable."

One HEATTECH item will be given to the first 500 customers who make a purchase on opening day of each new store, and people will be encouraged to Spin The Wheel for the chance to win free items or discounts between 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Recognized for its innovative functional apparel and high-quality wardrobe staples, UNIQLO focuses on providing clothing made for everyone, everywhere. Product offerings at all four new stores will include the brand's signature collections including AIRism, HEATTECH, Extra Fine Merino and Ultra Light Down, along with premium Jeans and UT. Together these make up LifeWear – innovative, high-quality clothing that is universal in design and comfort.

People outside Toronto and Vancouver can now shop UNIQLO on the go with the newly launched mobile e-commerce that enables people from every corner of Canada to find clothing solutions from within the wide range of UNIQLO LifeWear clothing suitable for all lifestyles. Shopping mobile e-commerce allows people to purchase extended sizes on core items in sizes XXS to 2XL.

The new stores will join all other UNIQLO Canada stores in offering its All-Product Recycling Initiative in which customers can drop off gently used UNIQLO clothing in bins for donation to those in need.
