RAPSEASON is proud to present Teyana Taylor at an all-ages show at The Phoenix on Thursday October 11, 2018.

In 2008, Taylor released her first single, the Jazze Pha-produced "Google Me." The track reached number 90 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and was followed in 2009 by the mixtape “From a Planet Called Harlem”. By the end of the year, she had picked up a co-writing credit on "So Cold," a cut included on Chris Brown's Grammy-nominated “Graffiti”.

Amid work as an actor, dancer, and choreographer along with other creative pursuits, Teyana Taylor has had a labyrinthine career as an R&B recording artist, highlighted by the forthright, soul-rooted Top 20 album VII (2014). Well known for starring in Kanye West’s music video “Fade”, Taylor teamed up with West to produce her most recent album, K.T.S.E. (Keep That Same Energy). Released this June, the record came as part of a slew of highly-anticipated albums (including those from Pusha T, Kanye West, Kid Cudi & Nas) all produced by West. She embarked on a tour in August with R&B singer Jeremih, only to depart the tour the day before the Toronto show forcing a cancellation.  Without missing a beat, Taylor then set out on her first-ever headline tour which brings her to The Phoenix in Toronto on October 11th.
