JOHN SPLITHOFF RELEASES NEW SINGLE “LIKE YOU TALK TO ME”

With nearly 250 million total streams, acclaimed soul pop artist John Splithoff unveils his new single entitled “Like You Talk To Me” today via East West Records.

Written by John Splithoff and Co-produced with Aalias [Eminem, Bebe Rexha], “Like You Talk To Me” adds a refreshing new electro-pop sound to John’s discography. His vocals flirt with a piano intro before the vibrant instrumentals drop in as he proclaims, “I try but there’s no way for me to slow down the way I’m feeling.”

On “Like You Talk To Me”, John comments, “I wrote ‘Like You Talk to Me’ in the middle of winter in NYC while anticipating warmer weather. I felt the need to make something that would feel good to hear outdoors. Since the words describe a helpless, blissful feeling of being enamored by someone, I wanted the romantic lyrics and track to focus more on creating a mood rather than telling a specific story. Besides drums, I’m playing every instrument on the record and produced it out in LA with Aalias.”

“Like You Talk To Me” follows John’s last critically acclaimed single and video “Proud”, which Billboard premiered and praised as a “hilarious video for the all-too-relatable track”. “Like You Talk To Me” adds one more anthem to John’s 2019 catalog and continues to build on the success of his 2018 EP release Make It Happen and single “Sing To You” which clocked 45 million streams and counting and peaked at #8 on Adult Radio.
