Black-Owned Business 'Saints' is Cultivating a Space to Empower Creatives in Los Angeles
Los Angeles lifestyle brand Saints is redefining the men's boutique experience by blurring the lines between fashion, culture, art and design. Founded in 2018 by black and Latino L.A. native Daniel Ordoñez, Saints has cultivated a truly immersive experience for its community by merging a men's boutique, barbershop and art gallery. Ordoñez, a designer, creative director, and entrepreneur, strives to harness the power of storytelling to bring concepts to life through different mediums and platforms.
After graduating from UCLA, and having a successful career as a designer working with notable clients such as Nike, Beats, Google and Apple, among others, Daniel discovered the importance the arts played in his accomplishments and the platform it gave him to grow from his humble beginnings.
This ultimately inspired him to create his own business where he could take what he had learned to empower other creatives and minorities, while ultimately contributing positivity to his community.
"You have to be the change you want to see in the world. The positivity and energy you share influences others more than you can imagine. There is no better form of leadership than through your actions. Saints is that outlet for me, a way to bring together my passions and my community.", says Daniel.
Located in Venice, CA Saints offers grooming services from a hot towel shave to a women's undercut, hosts art shows showcasing some of LA's most talented minority artists, and carries a selection of new and vintage pieces from brands such as Carhartt also available at https://saintsunion.com/.
