Bay Area rap group UglyFace releases their latest single “Pillow Talk” today following an exclusive premiere with Hollywood Life. This release follows the buzz Aaron Temple, Andre Mosley, Aric Jones, and Kevin Farpella collectively known as UglyFace have started in the Bay Area since their reformation during Covid-19 in 2020. Since re-forming
UglyFace have hit the ground running with the release of singles “Woke Up,” “Oxtails,” “GWEN,” & “The Coast” all of which will be on their upcoming debut The Good EP. UglyFace’s unique style has drawn comparisons to legendary groups like A Tribe Called Quest, and much like The Tribe UglyFace
doesn’t always feature every member on each track but in turn allows each artist the opportunity to champion their own songs adding in the other members when it organically works for the music. This style of creating music is seen perfectly on their latest single “Pillow Talk” as Aaron took the lead on this along with Aric.

When asked about the latest single "Pillow Talk" Aaron Temple said, "I had a verse that I wrote to a beat about an afternoon out with my lady at Astoria Seafood in Queens, later that year I came to California for a session with Kevin where we gave ourselves 15 minutes to make a song, we had the beat in about 10min with no time to write and I thought the verse would fit. We had originally chopped Coolio’s - “Gangsta's Paradise” over the drums you hear now, but because of sample clearance we ended up trying out 5 different samples and I chose the one you hear on it. Aric recorded his verse on our trip to Chicago."
