Emic Lo-fi Hip Hop publishes 002/22: A compilation of Lo-fi beats to take on summer with the right vibes.

The Lo-fi Hip Hop sound of summer 2022 is encapsulated within the 12 beats of 002/22, a new compilation released July 28 by Emic Lo-fi / Hip Hop, a sub-label of Bologna-based Emic Entertainment.

This is the second release this year and the tenth in a series of compilations that have involved producers from Italy and abroad since April 2020, bringing with them a rich fanbase of fans of the genre.

The 12 tracks of 002/22 feature different styles and moods that describe a colorful soundscape, characterized by impressions and suggestions that tell of the desire for lightheartedness and relaxation typical of summer.

The cover is by the illustrator Matteo Guadagnini aka Mao, who has already signed the design of 001/22: in a desolate subway, among the sounds and silences of a city in the height of summer, the protagonist of the cover finds refuge in listening to the ethereal and dreamy melodies and the groove beats Lo-fi / Hip Hop, redrawing the spaces of a city halfway between reality and comic strip with a zen approach in contrast to the urban frenzy.
