HIT-BOY NOMINATED FOR ‘PRODUCER OF THE YEAR’ AT 2023 BET HIP HOP AWARDS
The BET Hip Hop Awards revealed this year’s list of nominees for their Producer of the Year category. Among those mentioned is 3X Grammy-winning hitmaker Hit-Boy.
This year alone, Hit has been on a tear when it comes to collaborating with other artists. Outside of teaming up with the prolific rapper named Nasir (Nas) to score his Magic 2 project, the multi-platinum producer’s busy slate of releases so far in 2023 include: his defiant studio album SURF OR DROWN 2; March’s Victim and Villains (with Musiq Soulchild); Belly’s most recent album Mumble Rap 2, and Benny the Butcher’s highly-anticipated opus Everybody Can’t Go – arriving later this year.
The annual awards show has routinely showcased the best hip-hop performers, producers and music video directors in the game. This year’s event will premiere Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 9:00PM ET.
In addition to unveiling the nominees for this year’s Producer of the Year award, BET shared via their Instagram page, “We don't know what y'all been told
