Multi-platinum pop artist and songwriter Alyssa Reid releases her new single “Don’t Sing This Song,” out today via Wax Records. Built around one simple request — if you ever cared, don’t sing along. The track delivers a clear, relatable take on heartbreak. 

Structured as a list of “don’ts,” the song walks through the familiar aftermath of a breakup: don’t text, don’t apologize, don’t pretend we’re fine. With a steady, conversational delivery and a chorus that sticks after the first listen, Reid captures that stage of moving on where the emotions aren’t explosive — they’re just firm.

"This song is basically a list of things you think about texting your ex… but don’t," Reid shares. "It’s not dramatic, it’s just that moment when you’re done arguing your side. And if it comes on and they sing along, that’s on them."
