Artcurial Motorcars I Fritz Neuser Collection I Passion of a Ferrari agent

On March 15, Artcurial Motorcars will present for sale the Fritz Neuser Collection. A former Ferrari agent based in Nuremberg, Neuser assembled an exceptional ensemble comprising 30 collector cars, including 10 Ferraris, as well as around 300 automobilia items and Ferrari parts, alongside memorabilia from other prestigious brands.

An extraordinary journey: from champion cyclist to Ferrari icon.

Fritz Neuser’s life story is inseparably intertwined with sport and the automobile. A top-level cyclist in the 1950s, he first made his mark on the national stage before turning to the automotive world, which would become the defining thread of his professional life. In the 1960s, he founded a garage in Nuremberg, later becoming an official Alfa Romeo and then Ferrari dealer, gradually establishing himself as a leading figure in Germany. His unwavering commitment and deep knowledge of the marque earned him Ferrari’s trust and fostered a close relationship with Maranello that would endure for decades.

Alongside his entrepreneurial career, Fritz Neuser competed in numerous automotive events as an amateur driver, taking part in historic rallies and races while forging connections with prominent figures from the worlds of sport and culture, including Enzo Ferrari, Luciano Pavarotti and Michael Schumacher. For more than sixty years, he remained at the very heart of the sports car world, playing an active role in promoting and strengthening its presence in Germany.

Today, Fritz Neuser has entrusted Artcurial Motorcars with 30 automobiles, including 10 Ferraris, as well as 300 lots of rare automobilia and spare parts, some of them new old stock, from his personal collection.
