T’ABBE PRESENTS SPRING/SUMMER 2027 AT SERENDIPITY3 DURING NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
Talia Abbe explores memory, inheritance and emotional expression through a collection shaped by the women in her family and a continuing collaboration with Bring Change to Mind
Talia Abbe has long used T’ABBE to examine the emotional role clothing can play in our lives. For Spring/Summer 2027, that inquiry turns toward memory: the things inherited, imagined and carried forward from one generation to another. Presented at Serendipity3 during New York Fashion Week, the collection brings those ideas into a setting already loaded with its own associations of nostalgia, fantasy and indulgence, creating a natural tension between the deeply personal and the deliberately theatrical.
Across 19 looks, Abbe continues to develop the contrasts that have come to define T’ABBE. Fluid ready-to-wear and refined separates sit alongside exaggerated volumes, custom textiles and the inflatable latex elements that recur throughout her work. Primrose pink, deep wine, lemon meringue and powder blue bring an almost confectionary quality to the collection, while shifts in proportion move the clothes between something familiar and something more unexpected. The tension is intentional: between ease and exaggeration, vulnerability and protection, clothes designed for everyday life and those that allow for a degree of escape.
This season, those ideas are rooted in Abbe’s own family history. Looking through an archive of photographs, objects and creative work belonging to the women in her family, she became interested in the ways aesthetic instincts, gestures and ideas can move between generations, sometimes deliberately and sometimes almost unconsciously. Among the material she discovered were vintage sketches by her grandmother of a raincoat she had once imagined making. Abbe returned to the unrealized design as a starting point, interpreting it through her own vocabulary rather than reproducing it literally. What emerges is less an exercise in nostalgia than a consideration of inheritance: how something imagined by one generation can find a new life in another.
That conversation between generations extends to T’ABBE’s ongoing collaboration with Bring Change to Mind (BC2M), the national nonprofit dedicated to ending mental health stigma through youth advocacy. Following a nationwide competition inviting students to create artwork around self-expression and mental wellness, the selected work was developed into a custom print and incorporated into the Spring/Summer 2027 collection. In the context of a collection shaped by Abbe’s own creative inheritance, the collaboration introduces another voice into the process, allowing the perspective of a young artist to become part of T’ABBE’s visual language.
“This collection feels particularly personal because it brings together different generations and different ways of expressing ourselves,” says Talia Abbe, founder and designer of T’ABBE. “I was able to look at something my grandmother imagined creating and reconsider it through my own perspective, while also bringing the work of a young artist into the collection through Bring Change to Mind. They come from very different places, but both speak to the idea that what we create can carry something of our internal lives into the world.”
Serendipity3 offered an appropriately heightened setting for these ideas. A New York institution built around fantasy, nostalgia and a certain unapologetic sense of excess, the restaurant allowed Abbe to place the collection within a world where memory and imagination already comfortably overlap. Against that backdrop, the collection’s exaggerated proportions and playful interventions could exist alongside its quieter and more personal references.
Guests included Sam Feher from Summer House, Chelsea Vaughn from The Bachelor Season 25, and stylist, editor and influencer Caroline Vazzana.
For Abbe, Spring/Summer 2027 ultimately returns to an idea at the center of T’ABBE: that clothing can carry more than its immediate function. It can hold memories, provide protection, create confidence or offer escape. Here, the past becomes less something to preserve than something to reinterpret, allowing inherited ideas and new perspectives to coexist within the same wardrobe.

ABOUT T’ABBE
T’ABBE is a New York-based womenswear brand founded by designer Talia Abbe in 2025. Rooted in an exploration of emotion and the ways our inner and outer worlds shape our experience, the brand considers not only how emotion can inform the way we dress, but how clothing can influence the way we feel. Through deliberate choices of volume, proportion, color, and print, T’ABBE explores how clothing can become a form of physical and emotional protection, offering comfort, confidence, or escape while giving outward expression to an internal experience.
