A new restaurant opening in the heart of Toronto’s waterfront district will cater to diners who love all-natural food made with the best-quality ingredients sourced from local growers and producers.
Embracing a mission to make “real food, fast”, b.good is set to open by the end of August at 100 Front Street East, directly across the street from historic St. Lawrence Market.
“Our whole motivation at b.good is to serve up delicious ‘real’ food made fresh every day in our restaurant by people who love preparing great food, not something processed in a factory,” says b.good president Todd Brooks.  “At the same time, we want diners to enjoy the quick service and convenience they’ve grown accustomed to finding at typical ‘fast food’ restaurants.”
Preparing real, local food diners can feel great abouteating means b.good has sourced all-natural ingredients from Ontario farms and producers, including: Enright Cattle Co. in Tweed, for all-natural beef for our house-ground burgers; 100km Foods of Toronto for access to great local providers of produce and potatoes; Greg’s Ice Cream of Toronto for super-premium ice cream for our shakes; Silverstein’s Bakery of Toronto for our breads; and Bright Cheese & Butter of Bright for cheddar cheese.
“We know the people who grow the fresh produce for our bowls, the veggies for our salads and raise the beef for our house-ground burgers. We’ve visited their farms and have seen how much they care about the food they produce. That way, we can know for sure how our food is made, what’s in it and why it tastes great,” Brooks says.
The menu at b.good will include a good variety of items, including bowls featuring fresh, healthy ingredients such as kale and quinoa, salads chocked full of seasonal Ontario-grown vegetables and, of course, staples like house-ground burgers and hand-cut fries.
Before the restaurant opens the doors at its Front Street location, the b.good food truck will take to the streets of Toronto in July to serve up samples and help people understand how much better food can taste when it is made by people, not factories.
