Lisa LeBlanc hits the Canadian road
New video You Look Like Trouble (But I Guess I Do Too)
Lisa's EP debuted at #7 on the National Sales Charts, and is currently charting on !Earshot's Folk/Roots/Blues Chart. It is the follow-up to the Acadian's self-titled French debut album which went Platinum, selling over 88,000 copies since its release three years ago.
Craving adventure, Lisa LeBlanc hit the road in 2013 across southern America and found inspiration for her EP. Highways, Heartaches and Time Well Wasted was then recorded on the fly in the Maritimes, and the result of these spontaneous sessions is an authentic Americana sound.
During her 2014 fall cross-Canada tour, Lisa performed sold-out
shows in Ottawa, Toronto and Hamilton and charmed everyone she met all
the way to Vancouver. She returns to Ontario for encore performances in Ottawa (April 1), Kingston (April 2) and Guelph (April 3).
Lisa has toured worldwide and received critical
acclaim for her work including the exceptional honour of the Prix Felix
at the Adisq awards in Quebec for being the "Discovery of the Year." The
Gamiq awards in Quebec also named her Artist of the Year, Song of the
Year and Discovery of the Year. She was awarded prizes in France and
Belgium and was nominated for a Juno Award in the Francophone Album of
the Year category in Canada.
