North By Northeast (NXNE) Future Land announces the full roster of participants including creators behind games such as The Division, Loud on Planet X, Severed, Assassin's Creed Unity and more. NXNE Future Land is a new Interactive, Music and Gaming Conference taking place Wednesday, June 15 at Ryerson University, Ted Rogers School of Management.

NXNE Future Land conference brings together the intersection of music and gaming with sessions focusing on technology, gaming, and how musicians can thrive in these industries. In VR Future Session: Is Virtual Reality The New Frontier For Gaming and Music, Saša Marinkovic, the Head of VR Marketing at AMD (Advanced Micro Devices), and Henry Faber from GAMMA SPACE Collaborative Studio will discuss the future of virtual reality in music videos and live concerts.

Throughout the day attendees are invited to demo AMD Radeon™ R9 graphics cards, which are designed for a spectacular VR experience and stunning gaming performance with the HTC Vive, a virtual reality headset enabling 360° room-scale motion-tracking.

Speakers and panelists at NXNE Future Land will include Ubisoft Audio Director Ritchie Nieto; composer and musician Rich Vreeland AKA Disasterpeace; indie game musician Maggie McLean; Ubisoft Narrative Director Navid Khavari; Big Viking Games; hip hop artist Cadence Weapon, Tanya Van Luven of POP Sandbox; Augusto Quijano from Drink Box Studios; musician Graham Coonies; indie game writer Kaitlyn Tremblay; gaming entrepreneur Albert Lai, Shaharris of Hackersnest; Jennie Faber, the founder of Dames Making Games; and Ubisoft Communications Director Heather Steele. 

Previously announced as the AMD sponsored NXNE Future Land keynote speaker is Nolan Bushnell, technology pioneer, entrepreneur, engineer, author and founder of Atari.
