BELLY ANNOUNCES MIXTAPE INZOMBIA SET FOR RELEASE ON FRIDAY

Today, critically acclaimed rapper and songwriter/producer Belly is excited to announce his latest mixtape, an arresting 11-track body of work entitled InZombia. The mixtape is set for release at all digital partners on Friday, November 11 via Roc Nation. The project is executive produced by DannyBoyStyles, Ben Billions and Belly. Along with the announcement, Belly has shared the project’s first two songs, “The Day I Met You” and “Consuela” featuring Young Thug. Both tracks are available to stream via Billboard.com. “Consuela” was given a global premiere earlier in the day as Zane Lowe’s World Record, and played on Beats 1 Radio earlier today.

InZombia is a dark and moody rap conglomerate that highlights Belly’s playful and artistic lyricism, his detailed attention to production and musical arrangements, solidifying him as one of rap’s most culturally inclined and influential figures. In describing the project to Billboard, Belly calls InZombia “a collection of moments from the darkest place I've ever known.”

Earlier today on Zane Lowe, Belly spoke of the project by saying, "In this music thing, a lot of people don’t understand that there’s personal things that are going on, too. Although this was my biggest year musically, a lot of crazy things happened to me and I felt like I needed a whole body of work to just get it out there and explain my feelings and my side of the story.”

InZombia offers features from some of music’s most notable MC’s including Future, Young Thug, Jadakiss, Ty Dolla $ign, songstress Ashanti and Nav. Belly enlists a team of production heavyweights and newcomers for InZombia including DannyBoyStyles, Ben Billions, Velous, The ANMLS and more. InZombia comes fresh off the heels of a slew of buzzed-about releases including 2015’s Up For Days and Another Day In Paradise, which was released earlier this year, all leading up to Belly’s highly anticipated Roc Nation studio album debut in early 2017.
