Toronto Raptors Put Fire and Carbon Monoxide Safety Centre Court with New Holiday Campaign
The Fire Marshal’s Public Fire Safety Council (FMPFSC) is preparing to tip-off an Ontario-wide fire and carbon monoxide safety campaign featuring Canada’s NBA team, the Toronto Raptors.
Two star Raptor players, DeMar DeRozan and Cory Joseph, have been named Fire Safety Ambassadors in the new program aimed at reducing fire and carbon monoxide tragedies during the holiday season.
DeRozan and Joseph will join David Orazietti, Minister of Community Safety & Correctional Services, Ross Nichols, Ontario’s Fire Marshal, and other safety stakeholders at the official campaign launch, Wednesday, December 7th. 125 Fire Service Professionals representing towns and cities from across Ontario will be on hand to join in the launch.
