HILLCREST MARKS THE OPENING OF HOMESENSE/MARSHALLS WITH RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2018
Hillcrest is celebrating its Glow Up transformation
on September 18 at 8:00 a.m. with a ribbon cutting event to
launch the opening of HomeSense/Marhsalls (46,450 sq. ft.) and live painting
performance by visual artist, Jessgo (Jessica Gorlicky) and DJ
Carmelita. The first 100 TJX STYLE+ members will receive a $10
Gift Card. Visitors can watch Jessgo and DJ Carmelita are ushering in
Hillcrest’s Sandgate Women’s Shelter initiative and SHERO campaign in
partnership with Toronto Life celebrating local female heroes. This initiative
begins with a HomeSense vignette installation in the mall’s centre court, where
a donation drive is running from September 22 – October 5. Retailers,
customers and local community members are encouraged to donate housewares,
toiletries, clothing, toys and books to Sandgate. Donations will help domestic
abuse survivors begin new lives.
