Melbourne singer songwriter Jess Ball has collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the electronic world, but today she steps out on her own with her debut solo single ‘Upside Down’. Developing her own pop-inspired sound, ‘Upside Down’ describes a relationship filled with mind games and brings Jess’ raspy vocals and relatable lyrics to the forefront.

“This song is basically about gaslighting and those who refuse to acknowledge the good in others for their own benefit,” explains Jess. “A person should never feel like they must compromise their own accomplishments in order to make other people feel comfortable with themselves.”
