Gunna Turns His 8th Annual Great Giveaway Into a Wellness and Sport Expo

More than 1,000 kids and families in Atlanta got free health checkups, youth sports with the Atlanta Hawks, and back-to-school essentials at Gunna's reimagined giveaway.

Gunna hosted his 8th annual Great Giveaway at Welcome All Park in Atlanta, and this year it was a Wellness and Sport Expo. It brought free health, sport, and back-to-school resources to kids and families. Instead of a regular back-to-school event, the focus this year was health and wellness. It builds on the work Gunna has been doing over the past 18 months, and gave local kids the same access.

Grammy-nominated Atlanta artist and philanthropist Gunna, through Gunna's Great Giveaway, with the Atlanta Hawks and College Park Skyhawks, Goodr, Nando's, Under Armour, and community partners.

Gunna wanted to do more than hand out supplies. He brought free checkups, youth sports, and healthy-living resources straight to families in South Fulton, where access to routine care isn't a given.

More than 1,000 kids and parents came through, with peak hours from 2 to 4 PM
A joint Atlanta Hawks and College Park Skyhawks basketball clinic, with mascots Harry the Hawk and Colli the Skyhawk on the court
Flag football with Gunna's 7-on-7 Wunna Warriors
Tennis drills and matches
Free health checkups, plus a room dedicated to dental and human body anatomy
Gunna's Grocery, powered by Goodr, and the Drip Closet with Under Armour, giving out family grocery baskets and merch
Nando's meals and food trucks
Free Gunna merch handed out after each sports activity
