–David Guetta is coming back to Canada to show some love for all of his Canadian fans. Following up his last visit to Montreal for Bal en Blanc in April 2013, Guetta will be back to perform at New City Gas on May 18th 2014. Other dates on his Canadian tour include a performance at Toronto’s Guvernment on April 17th, Quebec City’s Centre des Foire’s on April 18th, and at Calgary’s BMO Centre on May 23rd.
The entire leg of this tour is being supported by Canadian artists. Canadian up and comers Paris and Simo
will open for Guetta for all four dates. The Toronto performance will
see Guetta as the main headliner at the Decadence Festival and will
include Canada’s Grammy nominated Sultan and Ned Shepard
Since 2011,
Guetta has been dominating the hip hop, house and electro scenes with
his distinctive sound, garnering major success all over the world. It
isn’t only his millions of fans worldwide that love him, but the biggest
names on today’s pop scene as well. Heavy hitters like Usher and Flo
Rida are vying for the chance to work with him. His successive hits
along with numerous placements at the top of DJ Mag’s Top 100 list have
arguably made David Guetta one of the most influential artists on the
international music scene right now.
It
is undisputable that David Guetta gives his fans more than a show, he
offers an experience and this Canadian tour will surely be no different.
Being no stranger to delivering mind-blowing performances, these
upcoming events are sure to be the biggest parties of the year, where
Canadian fans will be able to watch him perform some of his greatest
hits, such as “Turn Me On” (featuring Nicki Minaj), as well as his
newest single “Shot Me Down” (feat. Skylar Grey).
