WayHome Music and Arts Sold out of Tier 1 Tickets

 - Cryptic Puzzles and Massive Artist Line Up Sees WayHome Selling Fast -

Republic Live confirmed earlier that Tier 1 tickets at the $209.99 price point for WayHome Music and Arts are now sold out and Tier 2 tickets at the $229.99 price been released February 19, 2015 at 12 pm EST exclusively at www.wayhome.com  Organizers are attributing the quick sell out of Tier 1 tickets, as well as pre-sale tickets, to fans that embraced the festival following a brand experience event at the Great Hall just last week and the strong artist line-up. Artists Sam Smith, Kendrick Lamar, Alt-J, Modest Mouse and Hozier are confirmed to headline the inaugural music and arts festival, along with an additional 40 plus artists announced for the event which is taking place July 24-26, 2015 at Burl’s Creek Event Grounds and will see more than 80 acts perform over 3 days.

Following a cryptic postering campaign that had been appearing in key spots across the city the last few weeks, the festival created buzz with a brand experience event for 300 intrigued Torontonians that waited in line outside the Great Hall to get a taste of what WayHome Music and Arts had in store.  After a short experiential video and artist teaser, attendees were rewarded with free tickets to WayHome Music and Arts and the small percentage of guests that followed ‘the rules’ inside received lifetime passes to the festival.  The full artist announcement was released the next morning and organizers were pleasantly surprised to see that having only been in market as a brand for 7 days the pre-sale and Tier 1 ticket levels, which offered fans the lowers prices to purchase, are now sold out.  Tickets will continue to be available at the Tier 2 price point of $229.99 going on sale tomorrow at 12 pm while supplies last, followed by Tier 3 at $249.99 and finally at Tier 4 at $289.99.   Fans are encouraged to act quickly as Republic Live is projecting a sold out event.

“We are completely blown away to see the response across the globe as we’ve already sold tickets in every province, 21 US states and multiple foreign countries and it’s amazing to be able to confirm it will be a global community of music lovers at WayHome Music and Arts,” said Shannon McNevan, Executive Director, Republic Live.  “The excitement last week at the Great Hall was so thick in the air with the most curious of fans that took the time to wait in line for a few hours, but to see it translate like this in ticket sales so quickly is a great surprise.  Our vision for this entire festival was to engage people’s imaginations and to see the response from fans for an event that’s only been around for a week – it’s just incredibly humbling.”

Tickets for WayHome Music and Arts will be sold in Tiers of allotments, meaning that once the number of tickets allocated at the current Tier price sells out, the following allotment of tickets will be released at the next price point.  Fans are encouraged to purchase early to get the best possible price and organizers are anticipating a sold out event. One GA ticket includes GA tent camping and full admission to all three festival days.  One campsite is provided per group upon arrival and each campsite can hold up to 8 people, although 4-6 per site are recommended to optimize comfort. A GA ticket will also allow anyone traveling back and forth daily to park in the day parking area at no additional cost.  VIP tickets, VIP Glamping, RV and Hotel Packages are also available exclusively at www.wayhome.com
