AMERICAN AIRLINES UNVEILS REIMAGINED ADMIRALS CLUB LOUNGE AT TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

The world’s largest airline, American has unveiled a new, contemporary premium experience at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), Terminal 3 with the redesign of its Admirals Club® Lounge. American made a significant investment in the nearly 2,500 square feet Admirals Club, which has been meticulously re-designed to offer comfortable seating and tranquility for nearly 70 guests. Customers can enjoy from complimentary snacks and drinks, a dedicated bar stocked with a range of premium beverages, a self-service coffee bar featuring La Colombe coffee beans, computers with Internet access, in addition to complimentary Wi-Fi and power ports throughout.

Commenting on the lounge re-opening, Pamela Hunt, American’s general manager for YYZ said “Our newly enhanced Admirals Club® lounge reflects American’s commitment to the Canadian market and our ongoing investment in the premium experience, both here in Toronto and around the world.”

American Airlines offers up to 30 daily flights from YYZ to its U.S. hubs in Charlotte (CLT), Chicago (ORD), Dallas/ Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles (LAX), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK & LGA), Philadelphia (PHL) and Washington, D.C. (DCA).

American has Admirals Club® Lounges in 54 locations worldwide and has offered one in Toronto since 1975. The newly redesigned space is part of the airline’s extensive worldwide lounge refurbishment program. American is in the midst of more than $3 billion in planned improvements to give customers a superior travel experience around the world. These investments include an extensive aircraft fleet replacement program, installing fully lie-flat seats; international Wi-Fi; more in-flight entertainment options and power outlets on board; a new, modern design for lounges and airport spaces, celebrity chef inspired menus and award winning wine selections in Flagship® First and Business Class.
