The Nike Waffle Racer Crater blends a timeless Nike innovation, waffle outsole, with sustainable innovation. The shoe takes notes from the Nike Space Hippie's exploratory process and its aesthetic to create an iteration that features a full-length Nike Grind outsole — made with 15 percent Nike Grind rubber — coupled with a Crater Foam midsole that is a blend of virgin foams and 11 percent Nike Grind rubber. The 100 percent recycled polyester upper is constructed with an expressive zigzag stitching instead of glued seams.

This Waffle Racer Crater joins other recent innovations in Nike’s Move to Zero effort toward zero carbon and zero waste to help protect the future of sport.
