Ontario K-pop singer Megan Soo releases music video for “Let Me Love Me (날 사랑해)”

The Canandian K-pop singer and multi-platform creator just dropped the brand new video for her debut single, “Let Me Love Me (날 사랑해)”. Performing her own pseudo K-pop style which mixes dancehall and K-pop, coined as K-hall, the singer and actor fuses her Korean, Chinese and Trinidadian backgrounds for her first ever release. An anthem to self-love, the video shows Soo turning her back on a guy to be with her girls, preaching that hers is the only love she needs.

Alternating between catchy Korean hooks and jaunty English verses (“Love me Love me, I do/ I just wanna let me love me, do you?), and shot under a hazy purple aesthetic, complete with two uptempo dance numbers, the video encapsulates all the lighthearted fun and spirit of the lively track. Soo's debut is just the start of her promising venture into the K-pop scene.
