ADIDAS & MASS APPEAL ANNOUNCE ADIDAS ORIGINALS cypHERS

Global lifestyle brand adidas Originals, entertainment company Mass Appeal, and EssenceMediacom launch their content partnership - adidas Originals cypHERS, which shines a light on women and gender expansive Hip Hop artists. Celebrating women in Hip Hop, the series brings together rising women artists in Houston and Atlanta while pairing them with an OG in Hip Hop as a mentor of sorts for a collaborative cypher where emcees gather in a circle, freestyling and building off of each other's creativity, momentum, and wordplay.

Kicking off today in Houston, rising artists Drizz the CEO, Brithaney Renaee, and Talameshia are paired with OG Houston, two-time NAACP Image Awards winning producer & rapper Lanell Grant to deliver the hard-hitting adidas Originals cypHERS, "So Houston Wit It (cypHERS).”

Director Maya Table, known for her work with Lakeyah, Rapsody, Remy Ma, and Offset, captured BTS, as well as sat down with the artists to discuss the inspiration behind their original sound.

Fans can also look forward to an Atlanta adidas Originals cypHERS featuring Salma Slims, E Chapo, and Siena Liggins, who were matched with the decorated producing duo Nova Wav. This partnership is an exciting opportunity to amplify the voices up next while continuing the celebration of the genre that has championed individuality, expression, and creativity for the last 50 years. The unapologetically femme-forward campaign encourages cross-generational collaboration and support for rising women artists.

In addition to the adidas Originals cypHERS, a select number of promising femme talent will be offered the opportunity to enjoy the Cypher Experience. Taking place in the cities where the cypHers were shot, the adidas Originals cypHERS Sessions is a professional mixer where talent can meet and mingle with established industry professionals. The participating up-and-coming artists will be given the star treatment with professional photos from a notable Hip Hop photographer, the opportunity to customize their own adidas Originals gear, and a Tik Tok Content lab where they'll receive feedback and pointers from influential Tik Tokers.
