AYETIAN UNLEASHES HIGHLY ANTICIPATED MIXTAPE JAMPACK
Rather than organizing the mixtape by genre, Ayetian lets the energy lead. Whether listeners want to dance, bruk out, ride through the city, or slow things down and reflect, JamPack meets them where they are, creating a project where every listener can find their moment. That same vision shapes the mixtape's collaborations. Ky-Mani Marley, Kodak Black, Stefflon Don, Skillibeng, Tony Mix, and longtime collaborator Nvtzz don't appear simply to check boxes. Each artist brings a different energy, helping Ayetian tell a bigger story about the Caribbean while staying true to the raw authenticity that defines his music.
The journey begins with an intimate exchange between Ayetian and his mother before launching into "Bob Marley" featuring Ky-Mani Marley, where he confidently stakes his claim as a Gen Z voice ready to carry the culture forward in his own way. "Jamatian" serves as a declaration of identity, embracing both the Jamaican and Haitian flags while celebrating the one-of-one perspective that has become Ayetian's signature.
One of the mixtape's standout moments arrives with "Miami Vice," a slick, groove-heavy anthem inspired by the city's fast life and deep Caribbean influence, particularly its Haitian roots. Elsewhere, "Scale Tip Ova" showcases some of Ayetian's sharpest deejay work to date, while "T-Pot" flips Super Beagle's classic "Dust a Sound Boy" into one of the project's wildest, most high-energy records.
The gyal tunes hit just as hard. "FYAH" turns up the heat with undeniable chemistry, while "Gih Yuh Some" featuring Skillibeng and "My Girl" featuring Stefflon Don showcase Ayetian's versatility without losing the swagger that runs through the entire mixtape.
On "Fling It Back," Ayetian leans into bouyon influences while effortlessly switching between patois and French Creole, another reflection of the dual cultures that have shaped him since childhood. The "CMA Interlude" pulls audio from his recent conversation with Okayplayer during Caribbean Music Awards weekend, giving listeners a candid look into the mindset behind the mixtape.
The project closes where everything began. Following another heartfelt voice note from his mother on the "Mobay Interlude," "Mobay City" finds Ayetian reflecting on the road from Montego Bay to this moment. It's a record rooted in gratitude, resilience, and the belief that no matter how far he travels, home will always travel with him.
With JamPack now out in the world, Ayetian is set to take the energy straight to the stage at Rum Island Festival in Atlanta on July 11 before returning home to Jamaica for Reggae Sumfest on July 18, where he'll perform on one of dancehall's biggest stages.
