CHEVY BEAULIEU RELEASES SELF-TITLED DEBUT ALBUM
Following a breakthrough year that brought him national radio attention, more than one million streams, a Billboard Canadian Country chart entry, and a Country Music Alberta Award win, country riser Chevy Beaulieu releases his self-titled debut album today via 604 Records. Listen to Chevy Beaulieu HERE.
Across 12 tracks, Chevy Beaulieu brings together a sound the Alberta country artist has been steadily building over the past year — traditional country storytelling, barroom humour, heartbreak, sharp hooks, and a rough-around-the-edges honesty that has quickly set him apart within Canada’s next wave of country voices.
Leading the release is the focus track, “Hell If I Know,” a fan favourite from Chevy’s live show that captures the restless, hard-luck side of the project. Written by Chevy and Walker Tompkins, the song finds him caught somewhere between bad habits, bad luck, and a job he can’t stand, anchored by a soaring chorus.
As Chevy often puts it from the stage, “Hell If I Know” is a song about “cocaine and hating your job,” a blunt introduction that speaks to the track’s worn-down honesty and the feeling of wanting out, even when you’re not sure where you’re headed.
That same lived-in perspective runs throughout the album. Rather than smoothing out the edges, Chevy Beaulieu leans into them, moving between heartbreak songs, honky-tonk moments, barroom one-liners, and the kind of real-life country storytelling that has become central to Chevy’s sound.
The album also includes previously released singles “She’ll Come Back Around,” “Alcohol You,” “Headlights and Memories,” “Any Easier,” “Forget Her Goodbye,” “Maybe Tomorrow,” “Look At Me,” “Give A Damn,” and “If We Want To,” alongside new tracks “Killin’ Me,” “Hell If I Know,” and “Baby, I Do.”
Together, the project shows the full range of Chevy’s sound. “Give A Damn” leans into the defiant, Haggard-and-Waylon side of his influences, while “Look At Me” reveals a softer, more melodic side. “Alcohol You” and “Forget Her Goodbye” bring out the humour and honky-tonk storytelling, while “Headlights and Memories” and “Any Easier” sit in the more reflective side of heartbreak. With “Hell If I Know,” Chevy adds another layer — restless, honest, and built for the stage.
The release caps a major year of growth for Beaulieu following his 604 Records debut. His debut single “If We Want To” has surpassed one million streams alone, reached the Top 30 at Canadian country radio, and was named Stingray’s New Country Trending Track. Since then, his catalogue streams have only continued to rise, “She’ll Come Back Around” entered the Billboard Canadian Country chart, and Beaulieu took home Horizon Male Artist of the Year at the 2026 CMAB Awards.
Raised in Steen River, Alberta and now based in Airdrie, the Indigenous artist has continued to build his career through a mix of national radio momentum, festival appearances, and a growing live show presence, including performances at JUNOfest, CCMA House, and opening for artists such as Steven Lee Olsen and JoJo Mason.
With his self-titled debut album, Chevy Beaulieu steps fully into the country lane he has been carving out from the start — one built on grit, humour, heartache, and enough personality to make every song feel lived-in.
