Infiniti EMERG-E Hybrid Super Car

Infiniti, the event’s key sponsor this year, let loose its EMERG-E Hybrid Super Car. With Formula-1 driver Mark Webber at the helm, the car made a quick work of the track in front of the thousands gathered. Because of its two electric motors and the three-cylinder engine, the car ran in virtual silence, at least in comparison to its counterparts at the festival. While the appearance of this working prototype attracted countless fans, Infiniti and its parent company, Nissan, have yet to confirm whether the concept will be in production or not.
