Toronto May 23-25. CONS Project:
Toronto, is the third in a series of global community projects designed to inspire the next generation
of
creative spirits through music, art, style and sport. CONS Project:
Toronto marks the first CONS project to take place in Toronto, Ontario
at Goodfellas Gallery located in the heart of the
Queen Street West area - a vibrant art, music and lifestyle community.
Hosted
over the course of three days, the CONS Project: Toronto workshops will
offer tangible, hands-on lessons for local
youth ranging from ages 14 and up, at no cost. The three-day series
will consist of interactive workshops led by an expert roster of
well-known artists and up-and-coming superstars focusing on specific
themes within the CONS lifestyle.
· Friday, May 23 6PM-9PM
o Typography: Hone your skills in typography and learn trade techniques hosted by artist Andrew “Rcade” Kidder.
· Saturday, May 24 11AM-5PM
o Wheat Paste: Create the ultimate in street art hosted by Toronto street artist Error Message.
o Screen Printing: Screen-print your own merch with Greg Rodriguez, owner of The Baitshop.
· Sunday, May 25 11AM-5PM
o DJ Workshop: How to create your own mash up track featuring award winning DJ’s DJ Law and DJ Skillmore.

Following the workshops, Converse will host a closing exhibition event at
Goodfellas Gallery on Friday May 30
where the work created from the CONS Project
workshops will be exhibited. The collaborative artwork, screen-printed
merchandise, music tracks and photos will be on display to the public
along with music provided by Toronto-based DJs.
