The Entertainers Basketball Classic Inc., (EBC) — the most recognizable streetball tournament in the world— celebrated an amazing weekend at the first annual EBC South Beach Invitational, that was held this past weekend August 15-17 in Miami, FL. Hip Hop stars French Montana, Pusha T, Jadakiss, Jim Jones, 2Chainz, Ace Hood DJ Clue and more turned out as EBC brought its non-stop action-packed version of basketball from Rucker Park in Harlem to South Beach. The
weekend highlighted streetball culture on and off the court, featured
an epic exhibit from Sneaker Pimps, world class DJs and more.

The EBC South Beach Invitational featured six teams representing New York (two teams), Atlanta, Miami, Los Angeles, Washington DC and also had hip hop artists French Montana, Jadakiss, Ace Hood and 2Chainz serve as celebrity coaches with special appearances by NBA players Shannon Brown, Scott Machado, Jamal Tinsley and Dermarr Johnson.

Located on Ocean Drive (between 8th Street
& 9th Street), this weekend event marked the first of its kind in
South Beach. EBC transported its hardwood floor from the famous Rucker
Park in Harlem, NY to be installed under a tented venue with a capacity
of over 1,000 people. This celebrity driven All-Star weekend of
streetball combined the electricity and excitement found at Rucker Park
with the culture and backdrop of Miami’s South Beach. trying to prove that they have the best basketball players.
This amazing three-day weekend also includes special performances/appearances by Pusha T, Jadakiss, Oun P and Bizzy, as
well as daily events at the Ivy Night Club, Dream Night Club and the

The EBC South Beach Invitational is an extension of the legendary EBC streetball tournament that has existed at Rucker Park in Harlem for over 30 years. The EBC Rucker Park 2014 tournament
began in mid-June and will run through Mid-August. Some surprise
celebrity and NBA All-Star appearances at EBC Rucker Park this summer
have included: Khloe Kardashian, French Montana, Shaquille O’Neil, LL
Cool J, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Troy Ave, Lance Stephenson, Kemba Walker,
Maino, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes, Fabolous, Camron, Noel Nerlens, Kendrick
Lamar, The Breakfast Club, DJ Clue, Gilbert Arenas and Dominique Wilkins, among others.
Last year, special appearances included: NBA All-stars Kevin Durant of the Oklahoma City Thunder, David Lee of the Golden State Warriors, Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kenneth Faried of the Denver Nuggets, Tyreke Evans of the New Orleans Pelicans, Kemba Walker of the Charlotte Hornets and retired NBA players Shaquille O’Neal and Shawn Kemp. Also attending EBC Rucker Park was newly appointed NBA Commissioner Adam Silver,
a long time tournament supporter. Musical artists and celebrities who
made appearances last year and coached basketball teams included Rick Ross, R. Kelly, Yo Gotti, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, Fat Joe, Waka Flocka, Troy Ave, Vado, Swizz Beatz and Daymond John of ABC’s “Shark Tank.”

Entertainers Basketball Classic was founded by Greg Marius in 1982 in
Harlem, NY and is one of the most recognizable streetball tournaments in
the world. The EBC Tournament features a Men’s and Women’s division, as
