Dine Alone Records recording artist k-os redefined the meaning of ‘WiLD’ when he premiered the self-directed video for his long-awaited new single
“WiLD4TheNight (Egoland),”
paired with an exclusive interview a few days ago on HipHopDX
This is the first visual from k-os' sixth studio album, Can’t Fly Without Gravity, due out in 2015. The new single is available for download on iTunes now.

k-os reconnected with his Caribbean roots in his parents hometown for the making of the "WiLD4TheNight (Egoland)" video. Trinidad’s annual, and notoriously unhinged Carnival proved to be the perfect backdrop to compliment the song’s high energy, tick-tock trap beat and wavvy synth sound. In the video, k-os celebrates and exposes the rich culture of Trinidad, where he’s surrounded by visions of colorful masks, gyrating costume dancers and ceremonial street rituals. He notes, “With this video, I wanted to try to break some of the rap stereotypes and just have fun. 'WiLD4TheNight (Egoland)' is sort of my statement on dropping knowledge in music in a new and different way where an intelligent person is given the leeway to do those fun things that the people who 'typically' don't drop knowledge do.”
