"Pick your poison," at least that’s what A.B. is saying when it comes to listening to the New Age rapper. Like venom, A.B. is infectiously spreading through the veins of Hip-Hop with intoxicating hooks, sick lyrics and raw energy. The Dallas by way of Kansas emcee has already been mentioned in Billboard Magazine as, “one to watch”, and is taking the industry by any dreams necessary.
A.B.
started rapping at the age of 14 as an outlet to escape the domestic
and substance abuse he witnessed his mother go through while growing up.
Constantly moving and even being separated from his brother in the
foster care system, A.B. used his own pain and anger as motivation.
“I
learned how to put my life in my music and that’s when I knew this is
what I was put on this planet for. Music is timeless, I can't live
forever but my music can,” says A.B.
This
Fall, A.B. is releasing his debut project titled, “D.R.U.G.S.”
(Drinking Recreationally Under God’s Supervision) with production from
Silent Mike (Rich Homie Quan, Machine Gun Kelly, Wiz Khalifa), Chizzy
(Chris Brown, Travis Scott, Justin Beiber) and Sebastian Jones (Kat
Deluna). The first lifted from the project is the title
track, “D.R.U.G.S.” which is as intoxicating as it sounds.
