Hennessy Artistry Electrifies Music Scene with Events in Canada

Internationally renowned artists, Keys N Krates and Just Blaze to perform

 Faded4U was invited to cover the Hennessy Artistry Event held in Toronto at Union Night Club, T-Rexx interviewd Just Blaze and might I say it was very interesting to hear how some of the greatest songs he produced came about. From stories with Jay Z, Drake, Rick Ross to name a few and how his name came about thanks to Joe Budden. Just explained how he created "Show Me What You Got", he was on a business flight and when he touched down at his destionation he sent Jay the track mixed and mastered already. He also explained how technology has really changed the world and the music business, especially for producers. One of his favorite programs back then was "Logic" and he was always puzzled how Apple purchased the company and how they distributed the software.

 The experience was priceless to listen to someone like Just speaking about the positives and negatives about music, life, family and friends.

The Keys N Krates trio, Adam Tune (drummer), David Matisse (synthesizer/keyboardist), and Jr. Flo (turntablist), merge drums, keyboards, a turntable and live sampling on stage. Keys N Krates will  blend and morph their set with Just Blaze. A force in the hip-hop scene, Just Blaze has worked with a myriad of artists including Jay-Z, Kanye West and most recently, Baauer, famous for his hit song “Harlem Shake.” His style is unrestricted by musical categories, and often fuses live instrumental arrangements onto tracks layered with samples from hip hop to dance.

“Hennessy Artistry made sense to us from the get go,” says Adam Tune, drummer of Keys N Krates. “We reference everything from hip-hop to bass music in our beats, taking from whatever inspires us at the time.  It’s cool how Hennessy is incorporating so many different types of acts into their live series.”

Each event will offer partygoers a mix of sound, visual innovation and music, showing a unification of rhythm and taste, the joining of alternative urban cultures, and the versatility of Hennessy Very Special.  Guests are invited to explore and experience the universe of the brand’s mixed drinks based on four flavours that mix perfectly with Hennessy cognac – berry, citrus, ginger and apple.
