Grammy nominated artist, PUSHA T, makes his debut in his brand, PLAY
CLOTHS, Holiday 2 Lookbook for the CURSE YOUR LUXURY collection.
As the year draws to a close, Play Cloths releases its 2nd Holiday
delivery titled Curse Your Luxury. To celebrate its release, the
lookbook features none other than brand owner Pusha T.
A first for the brand and Grammy nominated MC, the collection features a limited number of black-based pieces that define the “international dope boy fresh” aesthetic introduced in the beginning of the year.
As only the third time the brand has released a second delivery for the Holiday season, Curse Your Luxury was previously seen adorned on crewnecks from the brand’s 2013 Holiday delivery. Representing the idea that one can enjoy the gains of their success without becoming a slave to material possessions, the collection brings together a small but diverse selection of darker hues and heavier silhouettes just in time for the winter season.
Holiday 2 “Curse Your Luxury” Features:
· The "Grandeur” set features an all-black reworked quilted pattern against a bomber jacket, sweatshirt, jogger pants and bucket hat.
· Our Romans print is reintroduced in this capsule and can be seen on the “Milan Strap," “CYL Sweatshirt” and “Milan Sweatshirt” set.
· The “Ascension T-shirt” design displays the frequent juxtaposition between “light” and “dark," as represented by a flock of flying white doves vs. the bon-chilling skull print.
· No Play Cloths capsule is complete without the signature collection jersey silhouettes. Holiday 2 also includes the “Bar Down” baseball and “Night Goalie” futbol jerseys.
