ABOUT MUNCHIES
MUNCHIES is a website and digital video channel from VICE Media dedicated to food and its global purpose. Launched in 2014, MUNCHIES offers groundbreaking content from a youth-driven perspective. The channel chronicles the wide spectrum of the global culinary experience and the diverse voices that are pulling us forward: chefs and home cooks, makers and consumers, the politics and policies of food, “front” and “back of house” restaurant life, old wives tales and innovative news, and culturally significant indicators in the modern food world. Through engaging original video content, compelling editorial features, articles, how-to's, recipes and events, MUNCHIES offers a signature perspective on the intersection where humans and food connect.

ABOUT FELIX FANG
Felix Fang got her culinary start at a young age when her entrepreneurial parents uprooted their native Taiwan origins to head for greener pastures and open a restaurant on the Big Island of Hawaii. By the time she was at the tender age of eight, she was already learning her way around the kitchen. She holds dear her memories of being the overweight teenage kitchen taste-tester, food quality inspector, and prep cook. After college graduation (and losing some baby weight), she gained aspirations for the big screen and set off for smoggy pastures on the Mainland. Felix appeared on the third season of FOX’s MasterChef and made it to the top six of a hundred of America’s best home cooks. Since then, she’s become a resident of Los Angeles where she continues to cook, style food, pursue acting, and daydream.
