AMTI TALENT & CANADIAN SUPERMODEL ANNOUNCED AS THE NEW FACE OF MAYBELLINE
Tanzanian born, Ottawa native, and AMTI model Herieth Paul announced as a global spokesmodel for the world's number one cosmetic brand, Maybelline.
Already a familiar face on the global fashion scene having
graced the runway for some of the worlds biggest designers, it was
Paul's increasing popularity and unconventional looks that caught the
attention of the cosmetic giant. Paul will now join fellow Maybelline
brand ambassadors and models Gigi Hadid, Jourdan Dunn, Adriana Lima and
Christy Turlington as faces of the brand.
"It is every model's dream to be the ambassador for a huge
beauty brand, especially one that they respect and admire," comments
supermodel Herieth Paul. "I am honored to represent the Maybelline
brand globally."
Discovered at age 13 by AMTI (Angie's Model And Talent) in
Ottawa, Paul has worked with fashion labels such as Calvin Klein Stella
McCartney, Burberry and Balmain, to name a few. Her striking features
and exotic beauty have also been credited for breaking down barriers and
opening doors by creating more visibility for ethnic models in the
industry.
"Herieth's newest role as a global ambassador for Maybelline
demonstrates the changing face of fashion," comments Dimitrios Seymour,
Agency Director, AMTI: Toronto. "We're seeing more and more models from
a variety of ethnicities become brand ambassadors on a global scale."
This year Paul will be seen representing Maybelline on
billboards, magazine pages and TV worldwide. In the coming months,
she'll travel with Maybelline for 12 days of shoots, for
commercials and travel, possibly to India and South Africa, putting her
in the same class as the company's ultra-famous spokesmodels.
Paul will also be hosting AMTI's exclusive Fashion Week Fete on March 10 in downtown Toronto.
