A former Buyer for esteemed Canadian companies such as Holt Renfrew and Sporting Life, Tonya felt that the fashionable Canadian crowd was ready for more and so was she.
OREJEN Fashion Lab was created as a global showroom focused on emerging and developing established designers in the apparel and accessories sector.
Tonya works personally with each label, focusing on launching emerging brands and developing those more established on how to get to the next level.

STUDIO ONE EIGHTY NINE is a social enterprise created by Rosario Dawson and Abrima Erwiah that consist of creatives seeking a platform to help promote and curate African and African-inspired content through an ecommerce shopping site, a supporting agency and an artisan produced fashion collection, c alled the FASHION RISING COLLECTION, launched in support of V-Day's One Billion Rising. Studio 189 focuses on creating opportunities for empowerment, education and employment of artisans and creatives
DEMESTIKS NYC
Reuben was raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. At an early age, he discovered his love for style and fashion. Upon graduating he attended Norfolk State University pursuing a degree in Art & Fashion Design and relocated to New York in to study Fashion Design at The Art Institute of New York City. Reuben Reuel credits vintage classic silhouettes, street style and the presence of color and prints as the inspiration for his brand, Demestiks New York. Demestiks New York clothing is manufactured in the New York in efforts to promote and preserve the New York Garment District.

Carol Miltimore is inspired by her lifelong passion and respect for artisan handiwork. Her travels have given her the opportunity to visit with artisans around the world. Informed by a decade of experience as a designer, Carol has worked with brands including Anne Valerie Hash, Calvin Klein Jeans, Converse, Michael Kors and Armani Exchange. We are two Melbourne sisters behind the new label, Collective Closets. Petit Tribe is a new fashion childrens wear brand founded by Olatoun Jolaso. Olatoun, a Nigerian entrepreneur who studied in both the UK, and US began thinking about starting a childrenswear collection when pregnant with her daughter almost 4 years ago. She was inspired by the nomadic Fulani Tribe, which she connected with almost every day while growing up. Petit Tribe is designed for the child, who is curious, bold, fun loving- an explorer! Pieces are bold, vibrant and easy to wear.
AARYAH
Megan Kothari was born into an Indian family of jewelers dating back to the mid 1900’s, instilling early on a passion for jewelry and all things that sparkle. At a young age, her style evolved fusing her Indian roots with her western upbringing. She further developed her interest in fashion by pursuing an education at The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and then went on to work at L’Oreal USA. The Sanskrit word aaryah (arya) translates to precious and rare. This word inspired the birth of our brand AARYAH, a collection of handmade, tribal inspired jewelry. Each piece is handmade by skilled Indian artisans ensuring every aspect is crafted to perfection.

This Ilk is a jewelry line composed of high quality lace, mostly vintage designed by Tamara Bavdek. Inspired by a unique blend of 60's and 70's fashion, exotic design explored through-out her travels as well as the values and notions learned through her degree in Industrial Design including sustainability and user-friendliness, This Ilk has a very unique aesthetic and design processes putting a lot of love into each handmade piece. The jewelry is bold but delicate, feminine but edgy and functional though elaborate. Furthermore, they are limited editions due to vintage or exotically sourced materials. The name This Ilk means of the "same type or kind".
An additional part of OREJEN Fashion Lab’s mission is to help girls overcome gender equality to succeed in education.
