Toronto, Tangina is Back!

 

Currently on tour supporting her new album Elevate, this Sunday, rising alternative-r&b artist Tangina Stone is bringing her acclaimed live show back to Toronto at Burdock on Sunday, October 29. Presented by Toronto creative collective New Currency, this will be her first headlining show in Toronto. Tangina performed earlier this year in Toronto for Canadian Music Week. Prior to her rocking the stage at Burdock, HERDAY will host a special artist talk with Tangina and her female-fronted label IMG Records at creator studio Free Space. HERDAY is a series of distinctive events created to provide women with an intimate, diverse and safe social setting to network while healing. Tangina will get up close & personal about her life, artistic journey, being a woman in music and her new album Elevate.

A fusion of soul, rock, electronic and r&b, Tangina released Elevate in North America on September 22, peaking at #27 on the iTunes Top 200 R&B albums chart. The album features the likes of Nelly Furtado and has garnered her praise globally with features on The FADER, Pigeons & Planes, Popdust, Noisey - Poland, Galore Magazine, AXS, CBC Radio Canada and more.
